Since taking over as Auburn football’s head coach, Hugh Freeze has been on a mission to enhance the program as quickly as possible.
He elected to dig into the transfer portal and found several gems. Auburn needs help in several areas such as linebacker, offensive line, wide receiver, and quarterback, and Freeze has done well in filling those needs.
There were a total of 20 transfers that made their way to the Plains. What exactly does each transfer bring to the table? To make this list, we broke down each transfer’s overall Pro Football Focus grade from last season at their previous program. While it is too early to decide if each transfer “pans out”, we can determine if each transfer fits the desired need that they were recruited for.
