It looked as if the Rams were a lock for the playoffs after their Week 14 win over the Patriots, pushing their odds over 98%. But two weeks later, they’re dangerously close to suffering an epic collapse and missing the postseason altogether.
For the second week in a row, they laid an egg with a chance to clinch a playoff berth. Needing a win to have a chance at the NFC West title, they fell flat in Seattle against their division rivals, losing to the Seahawks, 20-9.
After suffering their second straight loss, the Rams no longer look like contenders in the NFC and will need a win in Week 17 to make the playoffs without leaving it up to the Bears-Packers game.
