Rams sign TE Miller Forristall to practice squad

The Rams added some tight end depth with Hunter Long out for the season

Tyler Higbee is banged up and still recovering from a neck injury, and his backup, Hunter Long suffered a season-ending knee injury in Sunday’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The Rams still have Davis Allen and Brycen Hopkins at tight end, but they added some depth to the position on Wednesday.

The team announced Miller Forristall has been signed to the practice squad. Forristall is a 25-year-old tight end who came into the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2021. He’s spent time with the Titans, Browns and Saints in the last three seasons, appearing in six total games from 2021-2022, all with the Browns.

Most of his playing time has come on special teams, with only 27 of his 88 career snaps coming on offense. He played his college football at Alabama.
