With the 25th pick in the draft on Thursday night, the Jacksonville Jaguars selected Travis Etienne out of Clemson. But they were only able to do so after trading Jalen Ramsey to the Los Angeles Rams for a package of picks that included No. 25 overall.
So even though the Rams didn’t have a first-round pick, they still celebrated their All-Pro cornerback Ramsey. They sent a perfect tweet when the Jaguars went on the clock, sharing a photoshopped image of Ramsey and commissioner Roger Goodell holding a Rams jersey on draft night.

They weren’t done, though. After sharing the photo of Ramsey holding up a Rams jersey, the team sent another tweet.
It was a highlight package of Ramsey’s best plays from his first two seasons with the Rams, simply saying: “Worth it.”
Worth it.
Got an All-Pro, shutdown corner in @jalenramsey 🔥 pic.twitter.com/3zSpMs674T

Seeing the way Ramsey has locked down No. 1 receivers on a weekly basis, it’s hard to argue against the Rams being the winners of that deal. It worked out well for Jacksonville, too, but shutdown cornerbacks don’t grow on trees.
And Ramsey is the definition of a shutdown corner.
Blessed & grateful.. can’t wait to get to work 😂 🤣
In all seriousness tho, thank God for my whole journey.. from being a Top5 pick to the Jags to the Rams trading for me. It’s all been a blessing! 🤟🏾 https://t.co/RENBwpbNSa
