With their third pick in a span of four selections, the Rams kept the rhythm by taking a third straight offensive player. At No. 177 overall, they took BYU receiver Puka Nacua.
Nacua started his college career at Washington before transferring to BYU, playing two seasons for the Cougars. He had 48 catches for 625 yards last season, leading the team in receiving and scoring five touchdowns in nine games.
He also proved to be a rushing threat, carrying it 25 times for 209 yards and five touchdowns last season. That’s a similar level of versatility to Robert Woods, who the Rams used often on jet sweeps.
Big play Puka. 🙌
