Rams request to interview Cowboys DL coach Aden Durde for defensive coordinator job

The Rams have requested to meet with Cowboys D-line coach Aden Durde

Sean McVay is wasting no time exploring potential replacements for Raheem Morris as the Rams’ defensive coordinator. In addition to the Rams expressing interest in a possible reunion with Brandon Staley, they’re also looking to meet with Cowboys defensive line coach Aden Durde, according to Todd Archer.

While Archer didn’t specify what role the interview is for, Calvin Watkins clarified that it is for the defensive coordinator position. The Packers and Falcons are interviewing him for the same jobs.

Durde, 44, began his NFL coaching career with the Falcons in 2018, spending three years there as a quality control coach and outside linebackers coach. He’s been the Cowboys’ defensive line coach for the last three years.

He was born in England and played football there early in his career before making one-year stops with the Panthers and Chiefs on their offseason rosters in 2005 and 2008, respectively.
