The Rams are favored by more than two touchdowns against Jared Goff and the Lions this weekend.

Well, Jared Goff’s return to Los Angeles to face his former team isn’t likely to go very well for him and the Lions. The expectation before the season even began was that the Rams would be heavily favored against Detroit when Goff, Michael Brockers and the Lions visited SoFi Stadium in Week 7.

Now that the week has arrived with the Rams sitting at 5-1 and the Lions being the last winless team at 0-6, Los Angeles is an even bigger favorite than originally expected. According to Tipico Sportsbook, the Rams are 15.5-point favorites over the Lions.

Surprisingly, that’s only the second-largest spread of Week 7, with the Cardinals being favored by 17.5 points against the Texans. The over/under in Rams-Lions is 50.5 points, and the money line for Los Angeles is -1200.

That means a $1,200 bet on the Rams would only return a profit of $100. Not exactly a huge payout, which goes to show how shocking it would be for Los Angeles to lose this game. The Lions money line is +700, so a $100 bet would return a profit of $700 if Detroit were to somehow win.

Kickoff between the Rams and Lions will be at 4:05 p.m. ET this Sunday.
