Rams may reveal new logo and colors before uniforms, no timetable set

The Rams haven’t decided when they’ll unveil their new logo and colors, but that could come before the uniform reveal.

The Los Angeles Rams have given away very few details when it comes to their upcoming uniform redesign and subsequent brand refresh, but we know for sure that it’s going to be revealed before the 2020 season.

It’ll come with new uniforms, helmets, colors and a logo, but the team hasn’t disclosed much in advance of the big unveiling. In fact, the Rams haven’t even said exactly when the curtain will be pulled back – unlike the Falcons, who recently announced they’ll be getting new uniforms in April.

This has been in the making for years for the Rams, and they’re waiting for the right time to reveal them. Perhaps it’ll coincide with the draft, or later on in the summer for training camp. Or it could be both.

Rams COO Kevin Demoff told reporters Wednesday that they may split the release in two, with the colors and logo coming first and the uniforms later. There’s still no timetable for either, though.

Rich Hammond also tweeted that the uniforms and everything are finished, it’s just a matter of time before they’re revealed.

Waiting is the hardest part for fans, and there’s been no shortage of concept redesigns shared on Twitter and Reddit. The latest one created by a graphic designer and Rams fan is undoubtedly the best one yet, making only minor tweaks to the team’s current look.

There are concerns that Nike will try to overhaul the Rams’ uniforms the way they did with the Buccaneers, Browns and Jets over the last few years, which makes this concept a popular one among fans.
