There’s a chance the stakes just got a bit more even for the Buffalo Bills’ 2022 season opener against the Los Angeles Rams.
The Rams’ top cornerback in Jalen Ramsey had shoulder surgery recently. Ramsey posted an image of himself on social media wearing a sling.
The timeline comes from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Per Rap Sheet, Ramsey “should be ready” for the opener.
That’s “should,” not “will be.”
Ramsey, considered a top corner in the NFL, is officially on the Bills’ watch list regarding injuries for opposing players with the news. Any setback, he’ll certainly miss Week 1 against Buffalo.
If Ramsey does miss, it’ll likely even things out because the Bills’ top cornerback in Tre’Davious White is expected to miss the start of the 2022 season as well.
White suffered a knee injury in 2021 that he’s still rehabbing.
Stay tuned to Bills Wire throughout the offseason for all injury updates leading up to the opener.
