For the second day in a row, Van Jefferson was absent from Rams practice. He was held out again on Tuesday as he continues to rehab a knee injury that he underwent surgery for in August.
The Rams haven’t released injury designations for the season opener against the Bills yet, but we’ll get those on Wednesday after the final practice of the week. Jefferson is likely at least be questionable, if not doubtful or ruled out for the game.
He’s still the only Rams player listed on the injury report. On the Bills’ side, Tommy Doyle and Quintin Morris were non-participants again on Tuesday, while Stefon Diggs got a rest day and was limited.
Sean McVay said before practice Tuesday that Jefferson is considered day to day, and the team is still taking it a day at a time. He had no new update on the wide receiver and wouldn’t speculate on his status for Week 1.
