Rams injury report: Aaron Donald DNP due to knee injury

Aaron Donald was listed as a non-participant Wednesday due to a knee injury, while Jake Funk and Matt Gay were limited.

Coming out of their Week 5 win over the Seattle Seahawks, the Los Angeles Rams were afforded some extra rest over the weekend as they prepare to face the New York Giants on Sunday afternoon. They returned to the practice field on Wednesday, though, for their first session of the week.

With it came the initial injury report and there aren’t many major concerns on the Rams’ side. However, Aaron Donald was listed as a non-participant due to a knee injury, which Sean McVay didn’t mention during his pre-practice press conference.

Andrew Whitworth and Terrell Lewis got the day off for rest, while Jake Funk and Matt Gay were limited participants due to hamstring and ankle injuries, respectively.

For the Giants, Saquon Barkley, Kenny Golladay and Daniel Jones were all non-participants. Barkley and Golladay are unlikely to play against the Rams, but Jones still has a chance if he progresses through the concussion protocol and gets cleared.

Jabrill Peppers returned to practice, as did Sterling Shepard, while Kadarius Toney was limited with an ankle injury. All seem on track to play on Sunday.
