The Los Angeles Rams already added Allen Robinson and are still interested in bringing back Odell Beckham Jr., but even still, they may not be done exploring wide receiver talent. According to Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network, the Rams are showing interest in USC wideout K.D. Nixon.
Nixon ran a 4.54 at USC’s pro day and stands 5-foot-8, so he’s a smaller receiver who can move around the formation. Last season at USC, he caught three passes for 35 yards in nine games.
Before transferring to USC, he spent four years at Colorado and totaled 104 catches for 1,250 yards and seven touchdowns.
He also worked as a return specialist, returning 36 kickoffs for 813 yards in his college career. Perhaps that’s where the Rams are eyeing him to contribute, seeing as he’ll likely be a late-round pick or undrafted free agent.
