Rams have gotten trade calls about 9 players this offseason

Les Snead said the Rams have gotten trade calls from teams about 9 players, but he wouldn’t say which ones

Just about every team in the NFL gets calls from other clubs inquiring about the availability of certain players. Some teams, however, have more potential trade chips than others.

The Los Angeles Rams are just 13 months removed from their Super Bowl win and still have the pieces of a championship team. But after a 5-12 season, they’re headed for a little bit of a reset salary cap-wise, which will lead to some players being moved – either via trade or release.

It’s no surprise that teams have been calling the Rams about their players, something general manager Les Snead confirmed on Thursday during his media session. He even disclosed that he counted nine players that the Rams have gotten trade calls about, though he chose not to name names.

If we take a quick skim through the Rams’ roster and cap situation, we can make an educated guess as to which players they’ve gotten calls about. This is just our estimation of which players teams might be interested in acquiring from the Rams.

Aaron Donald, Cooper Kupp, Matthew Stafford, Jalen Ramsey, Leonard Floyd, Allen Robinson, Tyler Higbee, Joe Noteboom and Rob Havenstein.

Perhaps Cam Akers is another name, and maybe Bobby Wagner before the Rams decided to mutually part ways and let him become a free agent.

Other than that, it’s hard to think of players who might have generated trade interest.
