Rams have found their kicker, finalizing deal with Brett Maher

After cutting Tanner Brown, the Rams are working to sign veteran kicker Brett Maher

The Rams didn’t keep a kicker on their 53-man roster but they appear to have settled on someone. According to multiple reports, the Rams are working to sign veteran Brett Maher. They’re in the process of finalizing contract details with Maher, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

Maher spent last year with the Cowboys, making 29 of 32 field goal attempts in the regular season, including an impressive 9-for-11 mark from beyond 50 yards. He did go 1-for-6 on PATs in the postseason, which likely led to him not returning to Dallas, but Denver gave him a shot this year.

After the Broncos acquired Wil Lutz in a trade with the Saints on Tuesday, they cut Maher, making him a free agent.
