The Los Angeles Rams appeared destined to blow out the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. They scored on their first three possessions to go up 17-0. But then the 49ers woke up and battled all the way back, tying it up at 17 in the second half after trailing 17-3 at halftime.
But the Rams stepped up when they needed to in the fourth quarter. Jalen Ramsey picked off Jimmy Garoppolo and Matthew Stafford then orchestrated a 92-yard touchdown drive to give the Rams the lead.
The game wasn’t close to being over there, however. The 49ers tied it up in the final seconds and sent the game to overtime, eventually winning 27-24.
