The biggest fish of the Raiders’ 2023 draft class is reeled in. The team announced they have officially signed their top pick, Tyree Wilson, to his rookie deal.
The deal is worth a total of $25 million over four years with an option for a fifth year. It carries a salary cap hit of $4.54 million this season.
The 6-foot-6, 275-pound Texas Tech product was arguably the draft’s top pass rusher.
As a senior in 2022, Wilson was named first-team All-Big 12 Conference and first-team All-America by USA TODAY, The Athletic and Phil Steele Magazine. He played in 10 games and amassed seven sacks and 61 tackles (36 solo) with 14 tackles for loss.
