Raiders select South Carolina WR Bryan Edwards with No. 81 pick in 2020 NFL Draft

With the No. 81 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Raiders take their second receiver of the day, picking wide receiver Bryan Edwards from South Carolina.

Edwards was highly productive in the SEC, totaling over 3,000 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns in four seasons with the Gamecocks. He was a second-team All-SEC selection in 2019 as he led South Carolina in receiving yards.

Edwards broke his foot ahead of the NFL Combine, so he was unable to work out before the NFL Draft. However, he is healthy now and is expected to compete for a starting job as a rookie. Look for him to potentially beat out the likes of Tyrell Williams and Zay Jones early on in his NFL career.
