With their fifth selection in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders have selected Ohio State offensive tackle/guard Thayer Munford at pick No. 238.
This is the second offensive lineman the Raiders have selected after taking Dylan Parham at No. 90.

Munford was a back-to-back first-team All-Big Ten selection at Ohio State, playing left tackle and left guard. He projects as a guard in the NFL as he has a massive wingspan at 84 5/8″.
Munford could get some looks at right tackle in the NFL, but expect him to compete for snaps inside with John Simpson, Denzelle Good and Parham. At this stage in the seventh round, this is an outstanding value for the Raiders.
On the consensus board, he was listed as the No. 150 player in the 2022 NFL Draft. So getting him nearly 100 picks after that is a major steal for Las Vegas.
