Raiders pick WR CeeDee Lamb, CB A.J. Terrell in Daniel Jeremiah’s final mock draft

Raiders pick WR CeeDee Lamb, CB AJ Terrell in Daniel Jeremiah’s final mock draft

Over the last few years, NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah has become one of the most respected voices in the draft community. Outside of just his brilliant player evaluation, Jeremiah has earned the reputation as one of the most plugged-in draft analysts. And luckily for us, his mock drafts have shown that as he routinely nails a high percentage of the selections every year.

In his final mock draft of the year, he has few surprises, such as the Dolphins taking Justin Herbert at No. 5 and Justin Jefferson going to the 49ers at No. 13. But for the Raiders, it was mostly the usual suspects as he had wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and A.J. Terrell listed as the Raiders’ two picks in the first round.

Lamb has become a consensus pick for the Raiders over the last two weeks and it makes a lot of sense. Of all the receivers in the class, he has the fewest weaknesses and projects as an instant No. 1 wide receiver in the NFL.

As for Terrell, he’s one of the more gifted cornerbacks in the 2020 class as he has elite hight, weight, and speed for a cornerback. While he could use some seasoning, he projects as a high-end starter in the NFL with some development.

With just a few hours until the draft, this appears to be one of the best-case scenarios for the Raiders. They address their two biggest needs with players at the top of their positional groups in this draft. Let’s hope things play out like this for the Raiders when they are on the clock.
