Raiders make first 2021 offseason transactions signing 11 to reserve/future deals

The offseason has begun which means the Raiders have begun their work to prepare for the 2021 season. The first order of business is to lock up their reserve/future contracts. Today the team has signed 11 players to the offseason roster. They are as follows:

DB Rashaan Gaulden 6-0 200 2 Tennessee

DE Gerri Green 6-4 252 1 Mississippi State

OL Jaryd Jones-Smith 6-7 345 1 Pittsburgh

OL Eric Magnuson 6-6 300 3 Michigan

LB James Onwualu 6-1 235 3 Notre Dame

DT Niles Scott 6-3 320 2 Frostburg State

T Kamaal Seymour 6-6 310 R Rutgers

CB Kemah Siverand 6-0 205 R Oklahoma State

LB Javin White 6-2 211 R UNLV

All 11 of the players they brought back were on the team’s practice squad this season. TE Nick Bowers, T Kamaal Seymour, and LB Javin White were signed last offseason as undrafted rookies.

White in particular was called up and appeared in four games this season. The UNLV alum grew up in Oakland and saw action in the team’s first game at Allegiant in week two as well as their final home contest of the season in Week 16 against the Dolphins.
