Raiders fall to No. 14 in latest Touchdown Wire power rankings

Week 13 was not kind to the Oakland Raiders as they were blown out by the Kansas City Chiefs and their AFC wild-card competitors such as the Bills, Steelers, and Titans all were able to secure wins.

After back-to-back losses, the Raiders have fallen outside of the top-10 in most power ranking lists. In Doug Farrar’s latest rankings at the Touchdown Wire, the Raiders sit at No. 14, down two spots from last week. Farrar even wonders if it’s time to make a quarterback change over the offseason:

Perhaps it’s time for Gruden, who has never been patient with quarterbacks, to understand that the guy he’s stuck with through at least the end of this season is fundamentally limited, and must be schemed to success.

Oakland certainly isn’t out of the AFC wild-card race yet, but Sunday’s game against the Titans feels like a must-win game to keep their hopes alive. The Raiders will have one last shot to make a run in the AFC.
