Raiders DE Maxx Crosby wins Pro Bowl Defensive MVP, Chargers QB Justin Herbert Offensive MVP

Raiders DE Maxx Crosby put up 2.0 sacks and 3 pass breakups to win Pro Bowl Defensive MVP

It was quite a day for Raiders players in the Pro Bowl in their home stadium. While Hunter Renfrow was making outstanding touchdowns grabs on offense, Maxx Crosby was wreaking havoc on defense.

From the first snap, Crosby was making a impact. He knocked down a pass on the very first play and nearly intercepted it.

He would go on to have a couple sacks in the game, including this one in which he put his spin move on display to sack Russell Wilson.

Those sacks along with three pass breakups and five tackles had Crosby named the game’s Defensive MVP. He took to the stage after the game to accept his award.

Crosby gives a shout out to his Dline coach Rod Marinelli who helped put him this position, crediting his effort to the legendary NFL coach telling him not to “loaf” in the game. Advice that many of the players could definitely have heeded.

Before Crosby took the stage, he had some hype men in fellow AFC Teammates. You love to see it.

Winning offensive MVP was Chargers QB Justin Herbert who completed seven of 11 passes for 98 yards and two touchdowns.

The game doesn’t mean much, really, but to these guys who were making their Pro Bowl debuts, it clearly was nothing to take for granted.
