Raiders could be potential trade partner in NFL draft for Cardinals

The Raiders tried to trade up to the No. 1 pick. Depending on the quarterback they want, they could be in the market to move up to No. 3.

If the Arizona Cardinals wish to trade out of the thrid overall pick of the 2023 NFL draft, there are some options. But one team has already tried to trade up and failed.

According to SI.com’s Albert Breer, the Las Vegas Raiders attempted to and were unable to trade up to the No. 1 pick in the draft.

The Bears ended up trading out of the first pick, moving back to the ninth overall pick, swapping with the Carolina Panthers.

If the Raiders were willing to trade up to No. 1, they might be willing to move up to No. 3.

Of course, if they wanted either Alabama quarterback Bryce Young or Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud, they might be out on trading up.

However, if they like Florida’s Anthony Richardson or Kentucky’s Will Levis, they could be a willing partner.

At minimum, if the Raiders have interest, it might be enough to entice the Indianapolis Colts, who own the fourth pick, to move up one spot.
