Raiders CB Casey Hayward has not allowed a touchdown yet this season

The offense has really struggled for the Raiders over the past few weeks. However, the defense has done its job keeping them in games.

One of the reasons why is due to the secondary. Nate Hobbs and Tre’von Moehrig have both played really well as rookies and even Brandon Facyson has had his moments.

But the real star of the secondary has been Casey Hayward. According to Pro Football Focus, he has yet to allow a single touchdown on 368 coverage snaps this season. He is the site’s seventh-highest graded cornerback after another strong performance in Week 11.

This week, Hayward will likely cover Michael Gallup when his team faces the Cowboys. Without Amari Cooper and likely no CeeDee Lamb, Gallup will be the de facto No. 1 receiver in Dallas.

But as we’ve seen this season, Hayward has locked down whoever he has faced. He’s been one of the best things about this season so far for the Raiders.
