After a season in Indianapolis with former Raiders defensive coordinator Gus Bradley, Brandon Facyson is headed back to Las Vegas.
The sixth year cornerback agreed to terms with the Raiders today according to the Las Vegas Review Journal. The team with which he started a career-high nine games in 2021.
The news comes on the heels of the Raiders adding former Eagles safety Marcus Epps as the team attempts to fill holes in their secondary.
Facyson started just four games for the Colts last season, so he is far from a sure answer at cornerback for a Raiders team that had just Nate Hobbs as a returning starter.
Needing two starters would cause most teams to be a bit more aggressive at the position, but so far the Raiders appear to be approaching free agency looking for bargains, not big splashes (James Bradberry perhaps?). Though we’ll see how this plays out. It’s still just the first day, after all.
