Why would anyone flip off Rafael Nadal? I mean, really!
I honestly don’t know. But it happened during the legend’s second-round win in straight sets over Michael Mmoh at the 2021 Australian Open. A woman in the crowd was caught on camera throwing up the bird while disturbing the match and interrupting the quiet before a Nadal serve, and then another camera got what Nadal said: “Me?!”
And then he laughed a lot! You kind of have to.
Per USA TODAY Sports, the fan was escorted from the premises. Nadal resumed the match and all was well.
Here’s the before, during and after:
A fan has been BOOTED from the match for unsavoury language and flipping the bird to Rafael Nadal! 💥😂
Incredible scenes.
