Quinnen Williams drops hint that contract talks with Jets are not going well

Quinnen Williams doesn’t appear too content with how the contract talks are going with the Jets.

Former Alabama defensive lineman Quinnen Williams is entering his fifth season in the NFL, and the final year of his rookie contract with the New York Jets.

The 2019 No. 3 overall pick of the first round had the best season of his young career in 2022. He amassed 55 total tackles, 28 quarterback hits, 12 sacks and two forced fumbles.

As the Jets and Williams seek to reach a contract extension, things don’t seem to be going well. Recently, Williams changed his Twitter bio to say “Defensive Tackle for …” which indicates that he may be open to hitting free agency and negotiating with other teams when the time comes.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to cover Williams and other former Alabama players int he NFL.
