It was a good day to be Quinn Ewers. After three up and down performances, the Southlake product lead the Texas Longhorns to a 49-17 victory over the Florida Gators. Whether it was still the nagging oblique injury or just out of synch after a few weeks over, the junior didn’t look himself against Oklahoma, Georgia and Vanderbilt.
But Saturday against the Gators, Ewers looked like he did at the beginning of the season when he was leading UT to dominant wins over the likes of Michigan in the Big House.
While, a 19 of 27 for 333 yards, 5 touchdowns and 0 interceptions stat line will certainly be discussed extensively over the next week, it was another hilarious touchdown dance that is dominating social media.
Against the Oklahoma Sooners in the Cotton Bowl, Ewers broke out the ‘Bring the Boom’ dance after a touchdown that even caught the eye of ESPN’s Pat McAfee.

Already up 21-points against the Gators, Ewers tossed a 32-yard touchdown pass to Matthew Golden. Ewers, joined by offensive linemen Jake Majors and Hayden Conner, slapped hands and did a little bent over shake.
Majors gave some context into how the trio came up with the dance. “We all watch TikToks and reels so we kinda found that dance was going viral, so we kinda wanted to hit it,” Majors said after the game.

The funny dance will surely be a meme for years when someone is happy or a TD is scored. The ‘Bring the Boom’ dance already is.
Ulitmately, Ewers looked back to his early season form and that’s good news for dancing UT fans as the Longhorns begin the home stretch.
