Questad goes 150th; Bohrofen taken in sixth by Blue Jays

A signee and a current Razorback outfielder went to the Twins and Blue Jays, respectively, in the fifth and sixth rounds.

Wisconsin’s Gatorade Player of the Year and Arkansas signee Dylan Questad was taken with the 150th overall pick on Monday afternoon by the Minnesota Twins.

He will have a decision to make, but it’s likely that he will take the $412,600 slot value and go through the minor league system for the Twins.

In the sixth round, the Toronto Blue Jays selected Arkansas outfielder Jace Bohrofen with the 184th overall pick.

His .312 batting average and 16 home runs were vital in the Razorbacks winning the Southeastern Conference title and hosting a regional.

The pick slot value for Bohrofen is $304,700, so he has a decision to make but all signs point to him taking it and joining the Blue Jays’ farm system.
