Biadasz to the Cowboys at No. 146
If you haven’t already noticed a trend with the first three Badgers selected, the Cowboys traded up with their rival the Philadelphia Eagles in order to select Biadasz at No. 146.
And much like the selections of Baun and Taylor, PFF loves the value the Cowboys got with their fourth round selection.
“Dallas’ dream draft continued into Day 3 when they got two guys for great value in Tyler Biadasz (87th-best prospect on PFF Big Board) and Bradlee Anae (130th-best prospect on PFF Big Board),” the article reads. “[Biadasz] is one of the most accomplished run-blockers we’ve graded at PFF, with grades above 80.0 in all three years as a starter. The step back in pass protection this past season is concerning, though. He’ll have a chance to make an impact early with Travis Frederick’s retirement.”
With the recent retirement of Frederick, a Wisconsin legend, the Cowboys have a hole at center that they will either fill with Biadasz or eight-year veteran Joe Looney.
PFF described that Biadasz the Cowboys are getting one of the greatest college run blockers they’ve ever evaluated, a valuable skill with a player like Ezekiel Eliott in the backfield.
New #Cowboys C Tyler Biadasz started 3 years at Wisconsin.
He had the highest PFF run-blocking grade among qualifying C's in the BIG10 twice.

PFF’s overall grade for the Cowboys’ draft? “A+,” a grade due in part to their ability to get a potential Frederick replacement all-the-way back in the fourth round.
