PREVIEW: Nets get Kings on second half of back-to-back

The Sacramento Kings earned their first win inside the Disney bubble on Thursday. They have to get right back to work Friday.

Oddsmakers didn’t like the Brooklyn Nets’ chances to go .500 inside the bubble heading into the NBA restart. In fact, some sportsbooks set the Nets’ win total over/under at 2.5 games.

Yet here Brooklyn stands, 2-2 through four games. And their next game is against the Sacramento Kings, who lost their first three games in the Disney bubble before finally earning their first win on Thursday against the New Orleans Pelicans.

But as much as the Kings may have found their rhythm, they’re going into the second end of a back-to-back, whereas the Nets haven’t played since Wednesday.

Brooklyn, however, might be a bit short-handed for Friday’s 5 p.m. tip-off. Joe Harris (left tight contusion) and Jarrett Allen (ankle) are both questionable against the Kings, and Jamal Crawford (left hamstring strain) is out.

Sacramento is without Marvin Bagley III (foot) in the bubble.  Here’s the rest of the Kings’ Disney bubble roster:

  • Harrison Barnes
  • Kent Bazemore
  • Nemanja Bjelica
  • Bogdan Bogdanovic
  • Corey Brewer
  • Yogi Ferrell
  • De’Aaron Fox
  • Harry Giles III
  • Kyle Guy
  • Buddy Hield
  • Richaun Holmes
  • Justin James
  • DaQuan Jeffries
  • Cory Joseph
  • Alex Len
  • Jabari Parker

This is the second time the Nets and Kings have met up this season. They have not seen each other since November 22.

Brooklyn won the early season matchup 116-97 with Spencer Dinwiddie (23 points) and Harris (22) leading the charge against Barnes (18) and Hield (16). Fox was injured the last time Sacramento and Brooklyn met up and did not play.
