The wide receiver position has been one of the spots that a few mock drafts have the Chiefs addressing in the first round. It’s possibly because this is in fact a deep class in terms of receiver talent.

The free agency departure of Sammy Watkins and the return of Demarcus Robinson on a one-year deal leaves the Chiefs with Tyreek Hill and Mecole Hardman as the only wideouts on the roster beyond 2022. There are a handful of intriguing options that might grab the brass ring and become a reliable contributor. Guys like Byron Pringle, Antonio Callaway, Tajae Sharpe, and Jody Fortson are all capable of earning significant playing time.
