POSTGAME REPORT: Texas A&M’s last second FG sinks Alabama 41-38

Alabama’s comeback attempt falls short as Texas A&M hits a FG as time expired.

No. 1 Alabama’s comeback attempt fell short in College Station, as Texas A&M knocks in a walk-off field goal to beat Alabama 41-38.

Alabama trailed by fourteen at halftime and stormed back to take the lead late, but the defense could not get the stops late to hold off the Aggies.

Alabama outgained the Aggies 522 to 379, but that was not enough to give the Tide the victory. Costly turnovers and poor red zone play-calling cost the Tide several points.

Bryce Young finished the contest 28-48 for 369 yards three touchdowns and one interception. Brian Robinson Jr. led the way on the ground with 147 yards on 24 carries. Jameson Williams led the receiving group with 10 catches for 146 yards and two touchdowns.

Alabama must quickly regroup before heading to Starkville next week to take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
