Trail Blazers at Pelicans odds, lines, picks and predictions
Prediction
Pelicans 108, Trail Blazers 104
Money line
The Blazers picked up just their second win on the road this season when they beat the Grizzlies Sunday, improving to 2-11 away from home.
They could be without their best player Tuesday with Lillard possible sidelined, although his road numbers are below his regular-season averages. Lillard is scoring 21.6 points per game on the road and shooting only 38.5% from the field and 24.8% from three.
The Pelicans are riding their only two-game win streak all season. They average 104.4 points per game, which ranks 27th in the league but have averaged 109.8 in their last five games.
Take the PELICANS (-120).
Against the spread
The Blazers are tied for the worst record against the spread at 12-19 ATS and they’re the worst on the road at 3-10 ATS.
The Pelicans are only a game better overall at 13-18 ATS but are 8-6 ATS at home.
Take the PELICANS -1.5 (-110).
Over/Under
Portland is 15-16 O/U this season and New Orleans has an even higher rate of Unders at 13-18 O/U.
However, eight of the last 12 for the Pelicans have gone Over the projected total.
The Blazers are 4-6 O/U in their last 10 games. If Lillard doesn’t play, this is an easy call.
Go UNDER 217.5 (-107).
