Is Michigan State the worst team in the Big Ten? That’s the case according to one national college football media figure.
Brandon Walker of Barstool Sports’ popular “Unnecessary Roughness” podcast releases weekly power rankings, and this week he had the Spartans at the bottom of the Big Ten. This comes after Michigan State was dominated by Washington on Saturday, losing 41-7.
For comparison, I listed Michigan State at No. 9 in my updated weekly Big Ten power rankings that came out today. So I obviously have some objection to what Walker released on Sunday morning. At the same time, I can see how some would believe the Spartans have hit rock bottom after that embarrassing performance against the Huskies.
