The New England Patriots will look to get back on the winning track on Sunday in a tough Week 16 matchup with the Buffalo Bills.
Buffalo is riding a huge wave of momentum as an 11-3 team and a playoff contender. Meanwhile, the Patriots have dropped their last four straight games, including an ugly 30-17 loss on the road to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 15.
Patriots quarterback Drake Maye went 19-of-23 passing for 202 yards, a touchdown and an interception in the game. Rhamondre Stevenson led all rushers with 13 carries for 69 yards. However, Maye scored the only rushing touchdown of the game with a five-yard run into the end zone in the fourth quarter.
Meanwhile, Kendrick Bourne led the Patriots in receiving, catching three passes for 44 yards. On the defensive side, the Patriots got run over by the Cardinals’ rushing attack for 163 yards and two touchdowns.
Unlike the Patriots, the Bills had a battle for the ages in their last outing against the Detroit Lions. They pulled out a 48-42 victory with Josh Allen throwing for 362 yards and two touchdowns.
However, he was only part of the offensive attack for the Bills. Running back James Cook had 14 carries for 105 yards on the day and found the end zone twice.
Ty Johnson carried the load for the Bills at receiver, catching five passes for 114 yards. It was an offensive explosion for many players on the Bills, as they were able to secure their 11th win of the season.
The Patriots lead the all-time series between the two teams by a 78-50-1 margin. Who do you have winning Sunday’s game? Make sure to vote in our poll below.
