Now that the Denver Broncos’ 2023 schedule has been released, it’s time to gauge how optimistic fans are feeling about the team’s outlook for this fall.
The Broncos had an incredibly disappointing season in 2022, with new quarterback Russell Wilson struggling under first-time head coach Nathaniel Hackett. Wilson had the worst season of his career and Hackett was fired with two games remaining after going 4-11 through 15 games.
After firing Hackett, Denver replaced him with Sean Payton, a Super Bowl champion who won games with Drew Brees, Taysom Hill, Teddy Bridgewater and Jameis Winston in New Orleans.
The Broncos will now hope that Payton can help Wilson turn his career around and post a winning record this fall.
Denver finished last year with a 5-12 record and the team finished in last place in the AFC West. Before that, the Broncos went 7-10 in 2021, 5-11 in 2020 and 7-9 in 2019. How many games will they win in 2023?
