Unlike many other resources in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Sand Radishes are in extremely short supply. At the time of writing, we’ve only been able to find them in two different places, and they’re not exactly in abundance in either.
If you’ve been keeping up with the feud between Choy and Tao Hua, however, then you’ll likely already know that you need to find three Sand Radishes in order to expand the stock of Jubilife Village’s general store. Fortunately, we’ve figured out exactly where you need to look in order to get all three — or more! — in one fell swoop.
Here’s where to find Sand Radishes in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus – Where to find Sand Radishes
In order to nab some Sand Radishes in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you’ll need to have already unlocked the game’s fifth and final area: the Alabaster Icelands.
After exploring the Alabaster Icelands for a bit, you’ll come across the Pearl settlement in the northern section of the map. You need to come here as part of the main story, so it’s not exactly something you can miss. What you can miss, however, is the area southeast of this little village: Heart’s Crag.
Heart’s Crag is a small but important part of the Alabaster Icelands, being home to not only Sand Radishes, but also all three members of the Ralts family — in fact, Alpha Gardevoir even has a chance to spawn here. If you’ve already managed to put together a formidable team, it’s well worth venturing here to take on a beefed-up version of the Embrace Pokémon on top of collecting icy veg for a guy whose morals go out the window the second he’s offered three pieces of literally any foodstuff.

We uprooted three Sand Radishes in Heart’s Crag, meaning you can get all of the necessary materials for Tao Hua in this very area. It’s worth noting that all of the Sand Radishes are near wild Rufflet, all of which have aggressive dispositions and attack on sight. You can battle them, catch them, or simply move fast enough to get in and out before they can hit you — the choice is yours. Just keep an eye out for the blue plants that look a bit like lupin leaves and absolutely nothing like actual radishes.
We also found one Sand Radish down near Arena’s Approach, although this one is planted all by its lonesome. It’s worth picking up if you’re taking the scenic route back to camp, but can easily be ignored if you only want three Sand Radishes. You can also purchase Sand Radishes from the Ginkgo Guild caravan in Jubilife Village after successfully locating your first one out in the field. They’re $800 each, which is definitely steep but probably still worth it given how rare these little root vegetables are.
That’s all there is to it, folks — hopefully now Choy and Tao Hua will make up with one another and stop sending you on dangerous errands into the wilderness to collect pink salt.
