Pokémon Legends: Arceus – How to get every Eeveelution

Here’s a handy guide on how to get every Eeveelution in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

If you’re wondering if it’s possible to get every Eeveelution in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the good news is that yes, it is. We’re not going to say it’s easy, but it’s doable.

The first thing you’re going to want to do is obviously catch yourself eight Eevee — one for every Eeveelution. If you’re unsure of how to do that, check out our guide on where to find Eevee in Pokémon Legends: Arceus before reading on.

Got all your Eevee sorted? Excellent, now all you have to do is meet different, highly specific evolution requirements for each and every one of them. Fun!

Here’s how to get every Eeveelution in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus – How to get every Eeveelution

Vaporeon

Vaporeon

Fortunately, the Kanto Eeveelutions are way easier to get than the evolved forms of Eevee from other regions. All you need to do to nab yourself a Vaporeon is use a Water Stone on one of your Eevee.

If you’re not sure how to get evolution stones, you can learn all about them in our guide to evolution items in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Essentially, you can either buy them or find them in space-time distortions.

Jolteon

Jolteon

Jolteon’s evolution functions much the same way as Vaporeon’s, except it requires a Thunder Stone instead of a Water Stone. Aside from purchasing these or finding them in space-time distortions, you can also pick them up by smashing the amber-colored rocks in the Crimson Mirelands.

Flareon

Flareon

This is basically the same again, except Eevee requires a Fire Stone to evolve into Flareon. We’ve yet to find any of these naturally scattered across the map, although we’d be surprised if they weren’t abundant in the Cobalt Coastlands’ Firespit Island.

Umbreon

Umbreon

Eevee doesn’t require an evolutionary stone to evolve into Umbreon. Instead, it needs to be leveled up with high friendship. Once the option to evolve it becomes available — you’ll know what we mean if you read our guide on how to evolve Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus — all you need to do is make sure to evolve it at night.

If you don’t want to wait until night falls, you can also check out our guide on how to change the time of day in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Note: We’ve also seen Umbreon appear in space-time distortion fields, although we’ve yet to see any other Eeveelutions alongside it, so we’re unsure about whether or not Umbreon is the only one who can show up there. It’s definitely edgy enough for that to be the case.

Similarly, we’ve also encountered Alpha Umbreon without seeing any other Alpha Eeveelutions. Suspicious…

(If you’re curious about what Alpha Pokémon are, we have a guide at the link).

Espeon

Espeon

Getting Espeon involves following the exact same steps as obtaining Umbreon, except you need to evolve it during the day instead of at night.

Leafeon

Leafeon

Okay, so veteran Pokémon players will remember that Eevee needed to be leveled up near the mossy rock in Eterna Forest to get Leafeon back in the days of Diamond & Pearl. This was, as you might recall, an inventive idea that mostly turned out to be a nuisance.

While the mossy rock is technically in Legends: Arceus — it’s in the Obsidian Fieldlands, near the Heartwood — you can also just use a Leaf Stone on Eevee, which is much easier. Our recommendation would be to follow the latter option, but it’s up to you. If you’re a traditionalist, the mossy rock is all yours — we definitely won’t fight you for it.

Glaceon

Glaceon

Glaceon’s icy rock is also in Legends: Arceus, being hidden in a frozen, subterranean cave in the Alabaster Icelands. It took us so long to find, and is so difficult to explain the location of, that we’re going to just go ahead and suggest you use an Ice Stone instead — seriously, it will save you a lot of time and effort.

Sylveon

Sylveon

Getting Sylveon involves pretty much the exact same methodology behind getting Umbreon or Espeon. The only difference with Gen 6’s Fairy fox is that it doesn’t matter what time of day you evolve it at. Instead, once Eevee is ready to evolve, make sure it knows a Fairy-type move.

In Legends: Arceus, Eevee learns Baby-Doll Eyes at level 18. If it doesn’t know this technique anymore, simply select “Change moves” before confirming the evolution and teach it back to it. Once this is done, you can go ahead and evolve your Eevee into Sylveon.
