Pokémon Legends: Arceus allegedly leaks ahead of release date

Beware of spoilers.

Anyone that wants to go into Pokémon Legends: Arceus spoiler-free, be warned: spoilers are floating about online already.

According to Eurogamer, Nintendo is issuing copyright claims all over social media to nix spoilers. Obviously, if the leaks weren’t authentic, the company wouldn’t need to do so. So consider this a warning while browsing Pokémon tags on Twitter or Reddit. Hard to do since  Pokémon Legends: Arceus  looks amazing.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus  doesn’t release until Jan. 28, 2022, which is a little over a week from the time of this post. ForTheWin  took the time to see if the alleged spoilers are real and, yeah — maybe mute specific phrases on social media if you want to avoid spoilers. Maybe take a look at  the official trailers  to tide your curiosity over, if nothing else.

The leaks appear to be from physical copies of Pokémon Legends: Arceus  being sold at some retailers ahead of time. This sort of thing happens with  every mainline Pokémon  release, so it’s practically tradition. It is a greasy, opportunistic tradition for folks who love selling stuff on eBay for too much money, but what can we do other than Nintendo and The Pokémon Company catch this stuff before it gets out of control.
