Player grades: DeRozan, Bulls outlast Markkanen, Jazz in Utah

Chicago’s strong third quarter performance lifted the Bulls over the Jazz on Monday.

The Chicago Bulls outlasted the Utah Jazz on the road on Monday, 114-107, to spoil a revenge game from former Bull Lauri Markkanen.

Chicago outscored Utah by 13 points, 33-20, in the third quarter to bounce back from a seven-point deficit at halftime to help lead them into the fourth quarter with a lead.

DeMar DeRozan led the way for the Bulls with 26 points, four rebounds, and six assists on 9-of-20 shooting from the floor and 8-of-9 from the free throw line.

Zach LaVine added 20 points, six rebounds, and five assists on a team-high +11 in 34 minutes of action.
