Here are your Nets player grades following a disappointing 129-128 loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday.

NEW YORK — The Brooklyn Nets hosted the Charlotte Hornets at Barclays Center on Thursday and lost 129-128.

For the Nets, Cam Thomas had 26 points and two rebounds off the bench in his return from his ankle injury while Mikal Bridges had 22 points and nine rebounds. Nic Claxton had 20 points and Cam Johnson had 15 points.

For the Hornets, Terry Rozier had 37 points and 13 assists while Miles Bridges had 23 points and five rebounds. Gordon Hayward had 22 points and Bryce McGowans had 14 points.

In the first half, it was clear from the beginning that this game was going to be a barn-burner as neither team could miss many shots. The Nets, however, allowed the Hornets to shoot 55.3% from the field, 57.9% from deep, and 100% from the free-throw line on 10 attempts. Brooklyn went into halftime trailing Charlotte 73-71.

In the second half, it was more of the same as halftime did not cool either of these teams off in terms of shooting the ball. In the end, Terry Rozier was just too much for the Nets to handle and Brooklyn lost 129-128 despite a great look for Johnson at the end of the game.
