In the first half, it was a demolition job done by the Knicks on the Nets. New York was able to get any shot it wanted and Brooklyn could not buy a bucket. The Knicks made 14 threes in the half and they out-rebounded the Nets 23-13.

In the second half, the game was not as lopsided as the first half, but since the Nets were down 24, they weren’t able to make any real dent in the deficit despite playing better basketball. Brooklyn shot the ball better, but their defense continued to be porous in the second half.
