Even though they finished with an 11-point victory, the Wisconsin Badgers struggled on both sides of the ball in their matchup at home against the Green Bay Phoenix.
Guard Jordan Davis led Wisconsin with 11 points, three rebounds and two steals. Davis was the only Badger to score in double-digits, while the team as a whole averaged an abysmal 30.2 field goal percentage. In fact, two of Wisconsin’s biggest playmakers, Tyler Wahl and Chucky Hepburn, combined to go 4-25 from the field and finished with only 16 points.
On defense, the Badgers allowed several huge scoring runs from the Phoenix, including one that allowed Green Bay to pull within five points in the second half.
Wisconsin will head to The Bahamas for their next game on Nov. 23, to face the No. 23-ranked Dayton Flyers in the Battle 4 Atlantis.
