On Thursday night, the Wisconsin Badgers broke their three-game losing streak in a 65-60 road victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes. Wisconsin was led by a phenomenal 17-point performance from guard Connor Essegian, who also grabbed seven rebounds on the night.
Essegian was not the only Badger that had a good game, as three other starters finished with over 12 points including Max Klesmit, Chucky Hepburn and Steven Crowl. Wisconsin’s struggles did continue from the field, but the Badgers were able to force 16 turnovers including eight steals.
The Badgers will have their chance for revenge on Sunday night when they face off against the Northwestern Wildcats, who beat the Badgers last Monday.
