Former University of Tennessee quarterback Peyton Manning was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame for the class of 2021. He won two Super Bowl championships in the NFL.
Manning played for Tennessee from 1994-97 and led the Volunteers to the 1997 Southeastern Conference championship.
He is the son of Archie Manning. Archie Manning played quarterback at Ole Miss from 1968-70 and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1989. He was selected by New Orleans with the No. 2 overall pick in the 1971 NFL draft.
Archie Manning’s youngest son, Eli Manning, also played quarterback at Ole Miss from 2000-03. Eli Manning was selected No. 1 overall by the Chargers in the 2004 NFL draft. He was traded to the Giants and won two Super Bowl championships with New York.
Archie Manning’s oldest son, Cooper Manning, played wide receiver in high school. Cooper Manning’s son, Arch Manning, signed to play quarterback at Texas in 2022.
