No. 17 Tennessee kicked off its 2022 season Saturday against No. 6 Ohio State.
Ohio State defeated the Vols, 12-10, at Tennessee Rugby Park.
Tennessee entered its contest with the Buckeyes having not lost a game in 15s competition since Nov. 23, 2019.

The 2022 season is Tennessee’s first under head coach Scott Tungay. Tungay replaces Marty Bradley who is serving as Tennessee’s director of rugby.
Bradley served as the Vols’ rugby head coach from 2011-21. He served as Tennessee’s assistant from 1996-2010 under Butch Robertson.
Bradley guided the Vols to a national championship in 2021.
