No. 16 Tennessee (7-2, 3-2 SEC) defeated UConn (1-8), 59-3, Saturday on homecoming at Neyland Stadium.
Saturday’s contest was the first meeting between the Vols and Huskies.
The Vols totaled 650 yards (375 passing, 275 rushing) against the Huskies.
Joe Milton III completed 11-of-14 passing attempts for 254 yards and two touchdowns for Tennessee. He also rushed for seven yards and scored one touchdown.
Jaylen Wright led the Vols in rushing yards with 113. He also scored one touchdown.
Squirrel White led Tennessee with 94 receiving yards, while scoring one touchdown.
Elijah Herring led the Vols in tackles (seven), and Doneiko Slaughter led Tennessee in sacks (one).
