The No. 8 UNC men’s basketball was in a ferocious battle Saturday afternoon, as they took on the No. 16 Clemson Tigers.
UNC found themselves in another physical battle on the road without much help from the whistle as both teams traded buckets. Still, UNC was able to prevail, snagging the 65-55 win, despite the hostile environment, questionable refereeing, and a monstrous game from Clemson’s unlikely source, Ian Schieffelin.
Armando Bacot continued his dominance, finishing with a double-double, scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds. The win should improve UNC NET’s ranking and presence on the AP Poll as they move to 11-3 on the season.
UNC will play the final away game of their three-game road stretch, playing against rival NC State. Before the Tar Heels get to that rival showdown, we take a look at the photos from UNC’s physical win over Clemson.
