The Washington Commanders completed minicamp Thursday and have one practice remaining — an OTA on Tuesday — before they are off six weeks before training camp in late July.
It was a good week of work for the Commanders, who welcomed back defensive ends Chase Young and Montez Sweat and left tackle Charles Leno Jr. All three players skipped the voluntary OTAs.
Head coach Ron Rivera was complimentary of each of the three players, saying he believed Young’s explosion was back.
Another encouraging aspect of the minicamp was the progress of quarterback Sam Howell. While Howell was far from perfect, he displayed a lot of the traits that made Washington believe in him as the QB1 for 2023.
Now, let’s view some of the top images from day three of Commanders’ minicamp.
